Information we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the quote request form:
- your name, your phone number or email, and your company name if applicable;
- the description of your project: type of work, timeline, budget range, and the message you write.
This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies, and no audience measurement tools.
How we collect it
Through the quote request form on this website, or when you email or call us. By sending the form, you consent to this information being used for the purposes described below. You may withdraw this consent at any time.
Why we collect it
To answer your request, call you back, prepare a quote and, if you hire us, follow up on the work. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
Who has access to it
Only the Batinova staff who handle your request. To run the website, we rely on providers that may store this information outside Quebec, including in the United States:
- Netlify (website hosting and form reception);
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365 email, where requests are forwarded to us).
Before entrusting information to a provider outside Quebec, we assess that it will receive adequate protection (privacy impact assessment), and we govern the service with a written agreement. The website also loads fonts (Google Fonts) and a 3D display library (cdnjs) from third-party servers: like any web page, these receive your device's technical IP address, but none of the form information.
Safeguards
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the requests we receive is limited to the Batinova staff who need it to respond, through accounts protected by strong passwords and, where the service allows it, two-factor authentication. The information is never printed or passed on for other purposes.
Retention
We keep a request that does not lead to a contract for no more than 24 months after the last exchange, then securely destroy it. If a contract is signed, the information is kept for the period required by our legal, tax and warranty obligations.
Your rights
You may ask to access your information, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@batinova.ca. We respond within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Confidentiality incidents
If an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we add a service to the website. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its update date; any significant change will be indicated here.
