Permits and rules
Like-for-like replacement often needs no permit. Moving plumbing or touching the structure may require one, depending on the municipality. We check before we start.
Frequently asked questions
How long does the work take?
About 7 days of work once the materials have arrived.
Why a waterproofing membrane?
Tile grout lets water through. It is the membrane behind it that protects the walls and joists.
Can you replace the tub with a shower?
Yes. We check the slope and the floor drain before confirming it with you.
What if you find a problem once things are open?
We stop the work, show you what we found and price the fix at cost, with no margin, from the amount set aside with you for surprises. We resume once you say yes.
Let's talk about your project.
A visit, measurements, then a detailed budget. If the budget does not allow the work to be done properly, we will tell you at the first meeting.
