We promise few things.
We keep every one.
The price, the date, and the quality of what is behind the walls. Here is how we work, from the first meeting to the last deficiency corrected.
- 01
Before we say yes
We visit, we measure, we listen. If the budget does not allow the work to be done properly, or if site conditions do not allow it, we turn the job down. We would rather tell you at the first meeting than three months in.
- 02
The price and the date
On time and materials, you see every hour and every receipt as the work goes: you stay in control of the costs. On a fixed contract, for a new build or an addition, the detailed budget and the schedule are set before day one. Any change is priced, and you approve it before we do it.
- 03
Surprises
We check before we open up, to avoid surprises. But an old wall sometimes hides one, so an amount is planned with you from the start. If we find a problem, we stop the work, we call you and we price the fix at cost, with no margin. We resume once you say yes.
- 04
Hold points
Every step ends with a check: formwork before the pour, systems before the walls are closed, the vapour barrier before the drywall. We photograph it, and the photos go into your portal. Only then does the next trade come in.
- 05
Your project portal
The daily log, photos of every hold point, the decisions made together and every invoice, all in one place. You never have to call to find out how the work is going, or where your money is going.
- 06
Subcontractors
Chosen one by one, and kept. They work with our methods, our hold points and our portal, not their own. Our master electrician, for example, has worked with us for more than ten years.
- 01The detailed budget and schedule, for a fixed-contract project.
- 02The amount set aside for surprises, agreed together.
- 03Every change priced, and approved by you before it is done.
- 04Every unexpected fix billed at cost, with no margin.
- 05Photos of every hold point, in your portal.
- 06Every invoice and every receipt, in your portal.
