Finishes
Raking light forgives nothing. We check with it.
Paint, limewash plaster, tile, trim and millwork. It is the part of the work you will see every day: every surface is prepared, tried with you on a sample, then checked before the final coat.

What we do
- 01
Preparation
Drywall joints redone, holes filled, surfaces sanded and dusted before any coat.
- 02
Paint
Inside and out, from a lift when needed: a primer suited to the surface, then the finish coats, with clean lines at ceilings and trim.
- 03
Limewash plaster
A mineral plaster applied in several passes: a matte, nuanced surface that changes with the light.
- 04
Tile
Walls and floors, layout decided with you, cuts aligned with the openings and the axes of the room.
- 05
Millwork and trim
Baseboards, casings, doors and woodwork fitted, joints caulked before painting.
How it goes
- 01
Selections and samples
Colours, textures and materials chosen with you, tried on site, in the room's own light.
- 02
Protection
Floors, furniture and adjacent rooms protected; work area closed off.
- 03
Surface preparation
Repairs, sanding, primer.
- 04
Application
Finish coats, plaster and tile, in the order of the work.
- 05
Handover
Touch-ups, cleanup, deficiency list reviewed with you.
The hold points.
Every point is checked and photographed. The photos go into your portal.
- 01Drywall joints checked under raking light before priming.
- 02Sample approved by you, on the wall, before the first coat.
- 03Tile layout approved with you before installation.
- 04Touch-ups done in daylight and under the room's own lighting.
Good to know
Finishes generally do not require a permit. What matters is the surface: limewash needs a mineral base or a suitable primer, and drying time between coats depends on the product and the humidity.
Frequently asked questions
Paint or limewash plaster?
Paint gives an even, washable colour. Limewash gives a mineral, matte, nuanced surface. We show you both on a sample before you choose.
Can you redo only the finishes in one room?
Yes. We start with the condition of the walls: if the drywall or joints need work, we tell you before painting.
How many coats of paint?
A primer suited to the surface, then as many coats as it takes for an even colour. We check it under raking light before stopping.
What if you find a problem once things are open?
We stop the work, show you what we found and price the fix at cost, with no margin, from the amount set aside with you for surprises. We resume once you say yes.
Let's talk about your project.
A visit, measurements, then a detailed budget. If the budget does not allow the work to be done properly, we will tell you at the first meeting.
